The captains of the teams participating in the International League T20 (ILT20) revealed the trophy of the tournament's inaugural edition.
Taking to Twitter, ILT20 shared pictures of the captains posing with the trophy.
"Ready to conquer! The captains and the trophy, a glimpse of the final destination before the tournament begins," it wrote.
Six teams will compete in the first ILT20, which is hosted by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), at three locations in the United Arab Emirates: Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.
The competition will take place between January 13 and February 12.
The six teams vying for the championship are the Dubai Capitals, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, MI Emirates, Sharjah Warriors Gulf Giants, and Desert Vipers.
There is no player from Pakistan in the ILT20.
Pakistan wicket-keeper batter Azam Khan was first introduced by Vipers as one of their players, however, he was unable to compete in the event because he didn't get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
It should be mentioned here that the chairman of the PCB's management committee, Najam Sethi, will also attend the opening ceremony of the ILT20 after being invited by the ECB.
